I hope Jobe leaves…how can you have a work in project when he is a JUCO transfer two years is not enough time

Excellent point, and I believe that is most likely the case. Take Jobe for instance…I would assume that a player such as Jobe would find it a great pleasure to be a scholarship player at IU for a season. Could he remain as a practice team player should his scholly get pulled? Look what Crean has had to deal with. There might not neccessarily need to be an exeption to “the rule”, but it may just be a neccessary evil for the man, the program and the institution (of basketball) for a season. Wish we we privey to the going ons.

Everyone says stuff about the oversigning issue, but who's to say that Crean didn't inform some of the players in recruiting (possibly Jobe) that they are only guaranteed a one year scholarship and can play their way to earn one for the second year. If he made that really clear and the specific player(s) is not performing, I see no problem with helping him find another school and making room for a more productive player.
