The NCAA decides if you play after transferring – it is not about scholarship or pay your own way. Rivers MUST sit out one year.

OK, so the guy originally wants to go to UAB, but then balks when they don't guarantee MD will be there for his time in college. So he goes to Arizona and transfers as soon as Lute announces he's retiring. Sounds like a high maintenance problem to me. I understand wanting to play for a coach, but come on. You cant run every time your “guy” is not in charge anymore. Talent and size is one thing, but I want kids who want to play for INDIANA, not for whoever our current coach is.

Well I think that scholly players may not like the fact that Moore, a walk on, is getting all the PT. I think he is actually the best point we have. I think, even before this recruiting hype and need for scholarships, that some players will look elsewhere anyway.
