1. A study of Div 1 football schools and their monitoring systems shows IU is among the very few that monitor at the highest level . 30% donot even review phone bills

2. Phone co records were not provided on time or in a format to use in a timely fashion. COnsidering about 5000 calls/mo having to be matched w 350 recruit phone numbers this is a task if done manually that can have errors.

3. WHen a coach does not willingly provide phone #'s of recruits , or logs , or uses his home phone, or passes a phone, or uses three way calls there is no way IU can monitor

4. The NCAA Enforcement team decided not to apply the “failure to monitor” charge but the NCAA Infractions COmmittee with less background and knowledge brought this charge. It appears that they blindsided IU at teh August hearing by bringing these questions up when the charge was not even on the table

Looks to me like an NCAA vendetta
