all i can say is this…we were given our preverbial cake…and NOW we all want to eat it too! Shame on us! I was one of the most outspoken critics of KS…and still am. However, I'm glad he's gone. But with him being gone is the fact that recruits might leave. My great grandma used to say…”Birds of a feather, flock together.” That may very well be true here. If Ebanks and the other recruits wanna bail…let them bail. IF that is the price we as Hoosier fans have to pay for KS being gone, I know I will take it. Who's to say that any of these recruits fit into the system of whomever the next coach is? I look at Ryan Mallett of Michigan..uh er…Arkansas…uh where ever the hell he is now…If we hire the right guy, he's going to want his type of player. Who's to say that Ebanks will fit into our new coach's system? Just a thought to ponder for all of us that are proclaiming this kid the next 'Melo, or Durant or Oden or insert “over-hyped” high school senior here….

Agreed. But before we even hire a coach, the IU President should call ALL the recruits, and their families. Jet out to see them, too. That would send a powerful message, and show great respect to the recruits and their parents.

well there is a good chance that this kid will only play one year….miami is nice weather and rutgers is closer to home I believe plus they have a pretty good gaurd. Why do kids like beasley and mayo end up at usc or kansas state. Recruiting is a bitch. We probably have a tuff time getting players because of all the bs in the last 10 years.
