So will the Dan Dakich era be like the Mike Davis era? Are we as Hoosier fans to hope and pray that we fall apart so Dakich is not given the job full-time or do we jump on his tiny little Jordan halting shoulders and say “Dan is the Man?”

Or do we get extremely greedy and pray that Dakich has a great run, steps down as coach knowing it's just too big for him and assumes the role of AD (ok that's wishful thinking, maybe just director of basketball operations) when Greenspan is fired as well, thus having the foresight to help bring in one of the few “money” coaches out there willing to keep the Hoosier program afloat in these dark times.
