WHY???? can't the media wait until an offiicial statement comes from Greenspan or the Media Spokesman. This is a very serious issue for everyone. It's getting old (like me).

If I remember correctly, Jeff Goodman was the first to report that DJ would not play against Purdue. I think he looks more for quick than accurate in his reporting.

I believe it makes a REAL BIG difference if its a BUYOUT or FIRING……”just words” ( if I might borrow a phrase from Obama or Patrick or whoever said it first )

A firing means we can get “Jim O'Briened” and tainted for years in the media and on the recruiting trail. A resignation , with a buyout, means he will hold IU harmless and we be done
