    I’m content with that win. Yes, we played poorly at times, but I saw a few bright spots (offensive sets!).

    The way that Mcamey guy was playing was out of this world, you can’t defend that.

    I truly think it is time for Gordon to have a TOP notch Performance… Where the game ends and we say WOW! this kid is awesome… I mean driving hard, dishing, midrange game, and of course his 3 point shot. I think he needs to have one in the BT sched already, and no place better then @ the other Assembly…

    im not going to give a prediction, but like the uconn game i am extremely nervous.

    i feel like this is the most important game of the year. if IU loses (or gets blown out) by a really poor illinois team, they'll solidify themselves as a 2nd round Tournament exit in my mind.

    it's February. time for the hoosiers to prove they're a top 15 team.

    Is Taber really quicker than DeAndre? I can only assume that Kelvin just knows that Taber will go in there and not shoot, which DeAndre thinks he is allowed to do.

    We're not playing well and the Illini shot way better than they normally do, we can still win.

    DJ needs to touch the ball every possession.

    It is halftime and I really don't have a comment cause I don't know what to say…..but I will give it a try
    * EJ is pressing……
    * DJ needs help
    * Armon needs to turn up the O
    * Jamarcus needs to do more
    * Our offense still sucks
    * Our defense may be worse than our O
    * Illinois knows they suck, other than when they play IU
    * I have been a HUGE supporter of KS, but I am approaching saying the F-word if performances like this continue………
    * For the 2nd straight week I will say it again…Purdue is going to kick our asses….they do what we don't do…play hard, play D, play together, and are well coached.

    PLEASE I hope the 2nd half is better……

    Illinois shot 38% from the field and 33% from three…that's not exactly eye-popping…but they did hit more 3s than expected….granted we didn't guard them…nor did we rebound all that well…too many offensive rebounds…that needs to be shut down in the second half.

    the facts are this team just doesn't get after anybody on defense. Wilmont and Callaway are missed as on the ball defenders.

    and if Gordon's not hitting threes, he's not adding much. Not a power forward on the roster. Crawford plays like a freshman. it's not good.
