Hoosiers fall to No. 11 in latest coaches’ poll

Kelvin SampsonAs expected following Saturday’s 68-63 loss to Connecticut, Indiana took a tumble in the ESPN/USA Today coaches’ poll released Monday afternoon.

Indiana (17-2) is now No. 11, just ahead of their opponent on Thursday, No. 13 Wisconsin. Michigan State is the highest ranked Big Ten team at No. 7.

The top four spots in the poll remained unchanged: Memphis, Kansas, Duke and North Carolina.

Connecticut is the second team listed under “others receiving votes” after snapping IU’s 29-game winning streak at Assembly Hall.

Update: The Hoosiers are also No. 11 in the Associated Press poll.
