I am flying to South Bend tomorrow before going to Bloomington for IU vs Uconn. Why can't we blow these guys out so I can go to bed ? I can't see the game , only listen on teh internet. What is our problem?
  • jaime gongora
so far good D from our boys. Sometimes Dj is leaving his man behind at times, but i think its because the big man is not much of an offensive threat.
  • Jerry
UCONN just came from behind to beat Cincy at Cincy. Not good news
  • Would you rather them come to Assembly Hall off of a loss? I wouldn't.
  • Jerry
Neither would I since me and 3 friends are travelling over 1500 miles to see the game. But I donot like them playing us with confidence . At times they are dangerous in exactly areas we donot d well in like:
    1. Height , 2. Pressure/traps, 3. run the floor
This game will tell us alot about our readiness for March. The remaining B-10 schedule is not as educational
  • Iowa finding a way to stick around...Need to get some stops and extend this lead.

That was a sweet little finger roll

I would really like IU to play a completely dominating game from start to finish for once tonight.

sampson just said on pregame show that deandre thomas is starting
  • In place of Mike White, I'm guessing? Did he give any reason?

    Thanks for the update, Mike.
  • mike
yes - and no, he didn't expound upon his statement and fish didn't question it
  • Purdue is giving Penn State a beat down. 64-36 with around 3 mins left to play.

I wonder if we might see a reverse of some sort from the last game against PSU - maybe keep the starting five in longer to start the game and see if Indiana can get out of the gate quick. I doubt we'll be facing much competition from Iowa @ home.

Hopefully Gordon breaks out of his self-proposed "shooting slump" this game. After chowing down a classic #3 (if you don't remember, it is a game film sesh and a pep talk), Gordon should be more aware of how teams are guarding him in league play. This is the game where EJ shows everyone his basketball IQ ,and upon playing a team for the second time this season, corrects his mistakes and goes for 34-6-6 and only TWO turnovers. Call it bold, call it unprecedented...just don't call it a comeback. - J$

    Jamarcus has a triple-double

haha...I think for the last 4 games someone has predicted a triple double from Ellis. I predicted 20 boards from DJ against PSU and he didn't get 10.

Its about time to flex our muscle and dominate against a less talented team. Too often have we played down to the level of our opponents, and I will be looking for that to end tonight. HOOSIER DADDY
