I know officiating on the road in the Big Ten is often suspect for the away team, but come on...this 5 on 8 shit isn't going to cut it. I'm really suprised no one on our squad (coaches OR players) got ripped with a technical last night. I know everyone has touched on this this morning, but I needed to vent. Yea, props to her for gving it a shot and maybe it's just some sexist repressed side of me coming out from my ancestors in the 1920's ( i doubt it), but I hate it when some female announcer thinks they are on track and is really FAR off base with unecessary commentating. I think women are great at announcing figure skating, but keep them away from my teams college basketball. If I wanted to hear female announcers, I would watch the WNBA...and no one does that. If Doris Burke was cuter she could be the sideline correspondent...not to say I wouldn;t mount her as someone put it earlier, but I wasn't blown away by her "attitude or candor".
