Magically, when I tried hitting “login” for the thirty-second time, it actually sent me to a login page instead of re-loading the ITH site.

No need to download anything. Try just heading to disqus.com and registering under your name, and then login and click "remember". You ought not to have to type in your info on the site again.

So, do I have to go to the Disqus site when I want to post, or can I do it straight from ITH? When I click “Login,” all it does is reload the ITH site, with nothing changed…
