Witnessed my 2nd game this year featuring IU recruits... Jordan Mauel-6'8 soph. at Howe is long, active, and I like him. The best way to describe him is active with a lot of bounce. Kids learn to shot fake when he is around Dominque Fergunson 6'8 soph at LN...if we sign him it is a big time signing...this kid CAN play and this leads me to my next thing... Stephen Van Treese..you know the credentials. I DO NOT see why IU is even recruiting him other than him being a big kid from Indiana. He was no where to be found tonite and plays VERY timid against guys his size. Fergunson is a lot better than Vantreese and if IU signs him....I won't be moved one bit...the times I have seen this kid, it has been nothing special. LN won 68-64, again Howe is high octane but LN's size got the best of them.... OK off the topic….

They had the second greatest coach in the history of the sport when Alford was there, and they let him go! He should have been coaching IU the whole time! They'd have 12 more championships by now!
