ITH Podcast No. 2: What A.J. Ratliff’s return will do for the ‘skod’

mlk_radio.jpgIt’s that time again … here’s another podcast. Not as horrible as the last time, but certainly not without many faults, including but not limited to: mic and volume levels, misspoke words (indicated in the the title there) and I still, you know, say you know a million times. I need a shock each time I say it next time around, maybe that will cure me.

Anyways, on the podcast we talk about Coach Sampson’s suspensions and what that means for his general control of this team as well as what A.J. Ratliff will bring to the Hoosiers with his return. (Hint: It’s just not his defense.) Also, don’t miss our Bob Knight sound bite! Give it a listen if you’d like.

When you said “skod” I totally thought that was a cool new word for “squad.” You should have gone with that.

Improved ya know. For us old schoolers, how ’bout Whipping Post[Allman Bros.] when D.J. wins a game by his lonesome?

Excellent music choices. Much better than the previous ‘high school’ music.

I’m thinking AJ may be a little out of ‘game shape’ but he’ll quickly adjust and be ready for the Big Ten season. I’m curious about his offense. Will he get as many chances to shoot as in previous years? There is a lot of offensive production on this team and I don’t think his offense will be needed. I guess I’m more excited to see his defensive intensity and what kind of impact it will have on the other players.

    Hey guys,

Nice job with the podcast. It is getting a lot better. Good music selection. How about adding a poll and then discussing the results on the podcast? That would make it a little more interactive.

    Go Hoosiers!

Thought you guys improved a lot on this show…Although I was hoping we could hear Bob Knight’s rant about the Purdue game.

    M Quasebarth:

Good thinking on that, like the idea. We’ll toss around some ideas on making the podcast interactive for future shows.
