Witt, I loved Bob Knight to, but take a step back and realize he is gone. Quit trying to get rid of Sampson to get a "IU family" guy in there as coach. Alford hasn't done anything to be a coach and either has hardly any of the others. In reality if that happened we would end up with a next to nobody coach and 5-10 yrs of mediocrity. yes rules were broken but how about we let the common sense punishment fit the crime. How would you feel if he spent the next 10 yrs with a championship or two and no more violations. He would go down as a great coach who had a rocky beginning. Comparing to Duke?
