Can't wait to watch this season unfold!

Anyone see MSU's hilarious take on the madness? The players wore nothing but gym shorts, capes and shields as they were introduced, one-by-one, in the most awkward "sporting event" intro I have ever witnessed.

Then, after a ridiculous looking Drew Neitzel quoted something from "300," Izzo comes out in a Spartan helmet and body armor!!! He even dressed up and introduced his family (wife, daughter, son), who were petrified about the whole ordeal to say the least. His 5 or 6 year old son, with his head down in shame at center court, was consoled by his dad when he said, "he'll feel better once he fights some damn Hoosiers!" The crowd, still in a state of embarassment and shock, half-heartedly cheered in support of their comical leader.

This isn't a joke, it was broadcasted live on the big ten network. More clips available at the website tomorrow morning.

Bam---

Awesome crowd here are a few quick things at 1am....

1. Kevin Jones is a MAN. He is built for the big ten. Lots of IU loves NY signs

2. AJ Ratliff should be worried, Jordan Crawford is better than I thought.

3. Eli is ready to go, KS announced it to us all

4. Jamarcus Ellis reminds of G'Towns jeff green from last year....there isn't much he can't do.

5. EJ is a beast on the D..but I already knew that and he has beefed up more along with Stemler

6. Armon is showing leadership and won the 3pt contest......and has more hops than we knew.

7. DT is a crowd favorite and the weight loss makes him Waaaay more agile and effective offensively...

8. Great atmosphere tonite...a few people were in the balcony but otherwise a great crowd.

9. All the recruits were there I saw...Van Trese,Elson, Jones, Ebanks (a little skinny), strickland, and the other NY kids. I really like JOnes now and if TZ went elsewhere and we got jones it would be a good tradeoff, I just like his size.

10. Eli WILL help on D'...just ask DJ.

11. DJ has the "swagger", very very mobile...

its late but that is my first update

great news!!! Any posts on tonights HH/MM? To say the BTN's coverage is weak would be an insult to the word weak. I am interested in the crowd how the players looked and any thoughts on the recruit's reaction. Thanks guys.
