Big Dog had Alan Henderson visably intimidated after the first two posessions in the championship game. At one point in that game it began to feel sorry for Alan Henderson….Damon B. is just a legend of legends and I would put him and ALford as two of the most fundamentally sound players ever at IU or Indiana H.S. ball……..

What EJ has on them both is he does not and did not get enough credit for his defense….not nearly enough.

I saw Big O,McGinnis,Mount,Rayl,Bonham-I did not see Bird in h.s.—but Gordon is 3rd next to Big O and McGinnis. He is not overhyped!

Question…..is anyone other than me fighting off the feeling of not getting “over hyped” about EJ and this season?

I LOVE EJ and rank him as the #2 best indiana h.s player I have ever seen ….#1 Big Dog, #2 EJ, #3 Damon Bailey….BUT I just don’t want all of this dumped on a frosh. The good thing is I think EJ is so so level headed he will go out and just play like he does and they hype will take care of itself.

I guess I should enjoy it given I haven’t had this feeling in a Looooooooooooong time with IU BBALL.
