Of course we can beat Illinois. They have been hyped like crazy the last 2 years, and they couldn’t beat us either time. And they haven’t done that great this year either (Juice Williams still has NO accuracy). I say we beat dUI by 7.

Whoa now, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. While I’m a die-hard Hoosier fan, I don’t think I’ll ever say bad things about ND and UM’s fball programs until IU rolls off three straight national titles. And I still would reconsider talking smack even if that happened. I don’t think that was the reason of your post, but still.

Let’s be classy fans and not stomp on people when they’re down. Purdue fans, because of their inherent mediocrity in everything, love to bash others. Let’s focus on us.

We’re 2-0, but do you think we’ll be able to beat Illinois this year? We’ll beat Akron, but the Illini look pretty good this year (even though they got creamed last year).

After last season ended, I was ready for this one to begin. Everything was set up for this to be the year for the Hoosiers to play in their first bowl game since 1993. I believed that with Hep as the coach, and I still believe the players and Coach Lynch will get it done.

Let’s take care of Akron at the Rock, and head into conference 3-0.
