Is it possible Eric Gordon and his family were so pleased by the team's trip to the Bahamas, allowing Eric to visit with family members (was that a reason Sampson chose that location for the trip?), that he might consider a second season in Bloomington? Maybe not, but it's something nice to think about. Too bad Holman couldn't make the trip. The practice and games probably would have benefited him as much as any of the players. Let's hope he can play this season; the Hoosiers badly need his size inside, especially on defense, even if his talent is still raw.

Getting some killer Labor Day tans doesn't hurt things either.

Seriously though, as alluded to, this was all about the early practices the team gained in participating in this tournament.

Just over a month and a half until they're tipping off things at Hoosier Hysteria.
