looks like dj dominated for a 3rd straight game, this time leading the team to victory over argentina. team high 22 points and added another 7 boards. i think we can expect good things from him this year.

i didn’t watch a whole lot of the game, but for the parts that i did it was poor effort that cost us. drew neitzel missed 2 shots short, very short. they barely hit the rim. when dj left with foul trouble, no one would rebound. hibbert was trying, but he couldn’t deal with the physicalness of the panamanians. that’s kind of sad, honestly. he was supposed to be a lottery pick. neitzel also made 3 very lazy passes in the 10 minutes that i watched. i think the team needs to concentrate, and get up to the basket and DOMINATE. dj tried to do that, and he got in foul trouble. but we had 4 or 5 big guys. we should be able to handle 1 of them being in foul trouble.

I’d expect to be able to beat inferior teams like Uruguay and Panama. To me, these losses are unacceptable.
